Enjoy an excellent days fishing on the best trout and salmon beats in Europe.
The brown trout are truly wild which is a rare resource in this age of stocked fisheries. There are approximately 800 lochs and lochans between the island of Benbecula to South Uist and virtually all of these contain wild brown trout. The hill lochs tend mainly to have large populations of small fish, albeit 'monster' fish are caught there from time to time, the best baskets of brown trout are caught in the machair lochs. The season for Brown Trout runs from 1st April to 30th September. Sea trout/salmon season runs from early/mid July to 31st October.
